1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a pbisignage account, pairing a device, or using any part of the service, you fully agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform. Continued use after any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of the service

pbisignage is a SaaS platform that displays your Microsoft Power BI reports on TVs, mini PCs, and other screens in always-on rotation, with automatic visual refresh. The platform:

• Requires an active Microsoft Power BI subscription (Pro or higher) and a valid Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) account.
• Renders reports directly from Power BI through short-lived embed tokens, without hosting or modifying your content.
• Pairs physical devices (TVs, mini PCs, browsers) to your account through a 6-digit numeric code generated in the dashboard.
• Lets you build presentations that combine pages from multiple reports and configure display time, refresh interval, and per-page filters.

3. Your account and responsibility for displayed data

Each pbisignage account is for a single account holder. You are solely responsible for:

• Keeping your Microsoft credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account.
• Confirming that you are authorized to display, on your screens, the Power BI reports paired to your account.
• Ensuring that paired screens are under your physical control (for example, in private corporate environments) and that displaying the data is appropriate for the audience that will have visual access to that screen.
• Promptly revoking pairing for any device that leaves your control.

Important: pbisignage has no way of verifying who is physically standing in front of your screens. The choice of environments where you display reports is entirely your responsibility.

4. How pbisignage accesses Power BI

pbisignage uses OAuth2 authentication with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) to access your Power BI reports on your behalf. Permissions to those reports are fully inherited from Power BI — any report your Microsoft account can see in Power BI works here; any permission removed in Power BI stops working in pbisignage immediately.

For rendering on your screens, pbisignage generates short-lived embed tokens (auto-renewed roughly every 50 minutes) through the official Power BI API. We do not create public URLs, we do not index reports in search engines, and each TV gets a distinct, individually revocable token.

By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept this access mechanism and its technical implications.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use pbisignage to:

• Violate law or third-party rights.
• Interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or probe for vulnerabilities outside an authorized program.
• Embed content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that breaches your Power BI license terms.
• Resell or sublicense the service except as expressly permitted.
• Exceed the limits of your plan through automation or by sharing devices outside your account.

We may suspend access for violations of these rules or for any other breach of these Terms.

6. Plans, payment, and cancellation

6.1. Free trial

New accounts receive a 7-day trial without a credit card. The trial is offered once per account. If you do not subscribe to a paid plan before the trial expires, the account enters the inactive-subscription state described in section 7.

6.2. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, in US Dollars (USD) through the payment processor Stripe, Inc. Prices are shown excluding taxes where applicable; when legally required, taxes are added to the invoice.

6.3. Plan changes (upgrade or downgrade)

You may change plans at any time. The change takes effect immediately and the amount is calculated on a prorated basis using the days remaining in the current billing cycle:

• Upgrade (more expensive plan): we issue an immediate invoice for the prorated difference at the higher tier for the remaining days. The saved payment method is charged and the receipt is emailed to you.
• Downgrade (cheaper plan): we issue a prorated credit equivalent to the unused days on the previous plan. This credit is not refunded to your card; it accrues as account credit and is automatically applied to future invoices until depleted. Depending on the amount, this may result in several consecutive billing cycles with a zero-dollar invoice.
• Downgrade block: if your current usage (presentations or devices) exceeds the target plan's limits, the downgrade is refused until you reduce usage to within the new limits. Existing presentations and pairings are never automatically deleted by a plan change.

Receipts and invoices generated by plan changes reflect the actual amounts charged or credited by Stripe.

6.4. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Account → Manage billing in the dashboard. After cancellation, you retain full access to the features of your paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. Once that period ends, the account enters the inactive-subscription state (section 7). We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

6.5. Price changes

We reserve the right to modify plan prices at any time. Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' advance notice by email. Active subscribers will have the new price applied starting with the billing cycle following the notice period. If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel at any time before the new price takes effect.

7. Inactive-subscription state

The account enters the inactive-subscription state when: (a) the trial expires without a paid plan being purchased; (b) payment fails persistently and exceeds Stripe's grace window; or (c) the subscription is canceled and the already-paid period ends.

In this state:

• The players (paired TVs/screens) show an informational "subscription expired" screen and stop displaying reports.
• The admin dashboard remains accessible so you can fix the situation (update payment method, start a new subscription, etc.).
• Your presentations, pairings, and settings are NOT deleted. Once you settle payment or purchase a new subscription, the service resumes exactly where it was.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, pbisignage is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors, or fitness for a particular purpose. pbisignage is not responsible for:

(a) Service interruptions caused by scheduled maintenance, technical failures, or problems in the Microsoft Power BI / Microsoft Entra / Stripe infrastructure.

(b) Data loss or report unavailability caused by problems in your Power BI environment.

(c) Misuse of the platform by the account holder or by people with visual access to the paired screens.

(d) Direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the platform.

(e) Acts or omissions of third parties who have access to the physical environments where the screens are installed.

Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you have actually paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Service modifications

pbisignage reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part of it) with or without prior notice. In the case of permanent discontinuation, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email and a window to export data. You agree that pbisignage shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation, except as required by law regarding refunds.

10. Governing law and venue

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the home venue of the Contractor (Jedizer Tecnologia Ltda, CNPJ 41.130.328/0001-00) are chosen to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms, with express waiver of any other, however privileged.

11. General provisions

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. pbisignage's failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and pbisignage regarding the use of the platform and supersede any prior verbal or written communications.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be flagged at sign-in and will require fresh acceptance before continued use. Minor changes take effect upon publication, without requiring renewed explicit acceptance.
